A plum anyone?
Well its week 12.. I can't even believe it! One more week and I will be out of first trimester!! That is exciting! I feel like time is flying by now, especially with the holiday season just around the corner.
Well. here is what to expect our peanut to be doing this week:
The average fetus at 12 weeks is about 2.1 inches long and .49 ounces. Now that it's got pretty much all of it's parts, and the main job is to keep on growing.
Most of peanuts critical systems are fully formed!
Peanut is about to enter the growth and maturation stage, in which the organs and tissues will grow and develop rapidly.
It's now developing reflexes -- if you poke the body, it will likely move.
Peanut is now opening and closing it's fingers and curling it's toes, too.
The brain is developing fast!
